SALIX gracilistyla Melanostachys

Upright stems make a large shrub with red stems when young hold black pussy willows late winter or early spring, as they mature they elongate and have yellow pollen all over them. Regular prunning in late spring recommended. Normal soil or wet soil tolerated but not dry. Prefers sun or semi shade.
